Early Flower Again

Running Gorilla Bomb from Bomb Seeds. showing early flowers at 5 weeks. From research so far most say to ignore these flowers, that the plant will return to veg? Only one week under the lights, these Gorilla Bomb fem. photo period from Bomb Seeds started 4/1 (pic is an example), transplanted to final 4/30 are now five weeks out of the soil and were outside at one week old, full time by 10 days! These same seeds acted like auto's last year, finishing in July! They are getting 13.5 hours +- of sun now 5/9 (SoCal). Everyone seems to start under lights and then move out. EVERYONE says you can start with 24 hours when they first pop which is what I do then reduce to 18 for a few days, then matching the natural amount for a few days before placing out 24-7. I carefully matched the light timing 3 days before moving outside 24-7. They were transplanted from Jiffy cups to final containers at one month old and are now 12 to 18" tall. I use organic aerobic tea and mycorrhizae exclusively. Yet I have some of this trouble every year! Some just have the early flowers die off and then deliver a feeble finish. These same GB's last year just finished like auto's in mid summer with low yields of OK flower. I don't think I will use ANY artificial light again! LED grow lamps for sale! Even losing a third to difficult to control outdoor conditions would equal the same result I'm getting now losing a third to early flower! Why does ANYBODY risk it? Why spend the money on electricity when any seems to screw them up every year?

They need a 18/6 light cycle maybe you dont have enough light. Cannabis is photoperiod which means if they recieve 10-14 of light only thats a sign to them its ready to flower

There is not enough sunlight yet outdoors. Stop planting them so early.
That is why most wait til end of may or june to move them outdoors.

The only way to get around that is if they are outdoors now and they are young ...like young enough so they are not sexually mature yet.

After 4-6 weeks from germination they will go into flower if you put them outdoors too early.

And the plants need more then 3 days of being under that light cycle. Takes me a month and a half to adjust my light cycle down from 24 hours to where I want it.

I didn't mention that the Gorilla Bomb are a few of the mix this season. These pics are of the Girl Scout Cookies and there are some unknown from "free seeds" doing just as well. All started the same time and treated the same. The GB did the same thing last year. I"m thinking they are more comfortable inside? ANYWAY: in my dismay over the early flower I decided to make another start. I always thought I needed to start early for the best veg period to develop before flower. Started some Pineapple Haze fem. and more ? seeds with NO, ZERO ARTIFICIAL LIGHT. I left the lights in their cases and set the propagator out on my Metro Wire storage rack. I made sun shades out of left over screen door material (the plastic type) which I tested with my Photometer in direct sun to reach just under 1000 Lumens. Then this shade cloth is placed on the shelf above the propagator, creating just the right level of light and more than I could create with my lights, not to mention this is now FULL SPECTRUM LIGHT. Well, These girls all popped and are now two week seedlings, looking better than anything I've done before with the artificial light start! I'm pumped! Grow lights for sale!

Can you tell more about that light? And yea why are you so againts lamps?

looks good, but they are thirsty maaaaan

You don't need lights, most people use them, but there is more than one way to skin a cat.
I've grown many years without a light and it works great.
Don't feel pressured to grow the same way that others grow, you have to find what works for you, and the truth is that many commonly accepted methods for growing cannabis are total B.S.
Which is not to say that there isn't anything to learn from the collective knowledge of growers, but take that advice with a grain of salt and do what works for you.

Right on target Funky! Love the praying mantis! I learned their value last year to clear fungus gnat larvae. Yeah the all-natural bug bit me last year. Now my chemical stuff sits while I'm trying new "tea" recipes. Results are in your face, I don't need to wait for science to catch up. A new trick this year is using diluted urine (12-1-2 +-). Gave me a new definition of GREEN and atomic growth (in Veg. of course)! The other thing is changing my tea to better accent the potassium and phosphorus elements while minimizing nitrogen for flowering. So Nitro-Bat gets replaced with Cavern Culture and Seabird Guano while reducing the worm castings and other high nitrogen sources in the Flowering Tea. I also learned I could brew 1-gallon teas, dropping my air-stones into a gallon bottle of (also new this year) "constructed" water (mixing aged tap water with over 550 PPM TDS, with rainwater gathered this spring to get a "base water" of about 250 PPM TDS which leaves more room for nutes!) These early teas have really accelerated my seedlings. Did my first ice water hash extraction yesterday. I'll share about that elsewhere. Gotta do something with all this time on my hands! All in all, pumped by this year so far! Stay Safe! img 2230 is last year on 5/30 and 2632 is today! Case closed! Great Growing!

So I have like 6 strains so different all sprouted and grown identically and my GDP pheno is showing signs of flower development well into the two week mark I’m just now noticing it for the first time and it has me all tripped out.
They are photo period seeds how could this be any leads would be appreciated,18/6vegging under SF 2000, conditions are ideally stable.
