Keep on going with them...worse case scenario the transfer back to veg may shock them and give you hermies. But there is a good chance they will be fine.

Shortly after the switch to 12/12 look for calyx and/or nanners on the nodes. Males will generally show sooner than females. My suggestion is if you see signs they are male, whether hermie or not...hack em down and start again.
