Early flowering

What’s up guys, I have 4 auto flowers starting week 4 and they’re not even a foot tall. Any suggestions on how I could get more growth out of the veg cycle before they begin to flower? I’m using root organics nutrient line (Buddha grow, Buddha bloom, Trinity, and HPK for flower cycle) and I’m using Mars hydro ts 1000 x 4. Temp has been between 72-77 Fahrenheit and humidity 40-60%. Got them on a 20/4 light cycle with a little lst

I’m not sure that light is powerful enough for 4 autos. Also once they flower there’s no going back to veg. Too late. You get what you get out of autos.

Not even if I have 4 of them? I’ve got (4) 1000 watt leds equivalent to 600 or more watts. And that’s true, I’m leaning more towards photos every day

Man that is impressive. The auto OG kush is the lankiest and the main stalk is kinda stiff but you think I should still lst? It’s only at about day 30

For the best chance for autos to setup a good root mass and structure- a higher auto cycle is used. Such as 24/0 and 20/4. However .... it also depends on breeder and the offerings they sell .

Are these strains worked out to be as stable and uniform as it can be ? Or are they first gen seeds shopped out. Mephisto is the darling of the auto breeders but many others are starting to further work their strains too.

Autos are hardwired to move thru its short veg cycle and get to flower ( usually in around 90 days of life ). So not interfering with initial growth is important upfront. Goof ups / bad feeds / stress can also throw a wrench into it.

Those Ts panels are probably pulling about 100 watts a piece . NEVER believe model number as actual power.

Unfortunately not much you can do at this point, just try to dial in the environment and encourage good growth as best you can. Set the lights on 24/0 maybe. What's the distance and power setting? One ts -1000 would be enough to veg those little girls until flower, so i doubt it is a lack of light up to now, otherwise they'd be stretchy and taller. Did you have any issues early on? Might have been stunted early and just never grew out? They look healthy otherwise, node spacing is ok, just very small.
What breeder? Might just be quick to flower genetics.

I'm not sure if you got anything to lose but idk I train as soon as they are two inches or so. I use a twist tie bent at one end and put other end in soil as they are too small to tie to pot. I'm thinking day 30 is way too far along. Just enjoy her-them the way they are, most are lucky to get oz off of autos unless they have grown them before, big learning curve for automatics, its all a time game. You get very short time frame to train them and they are easy to stunt. But there is always exceptions. The one in pic is 3rd of 3 seeds from Barneys farm, Blue gellato auto 1st one was 10 inches tall when done second one is two feet tall with 3 mains and lots of popcorn, 3rd is 2 plus feet and lots of tops, the one in pics, and she almost died when I put her under hps from leds, came back full force though. Watch you tube lots of info on autos. Be happy with them even if small. 1st plant yielded about 35grams of damn dank smoke. Pot sizes went up with each one, 1gal, 2gal,4gal.

I assume with perlite added, I use promix as well. Autos are a touch sensitive when young. My first thought was soil compaction or hot soil was reason she s stunted...

Right on, hp is for high porosity, I like a real light soil. Usually add more perlite to it but it doesn't really need it.it has mycoryzae added. So girls love it. Autos love it. Its ph is at 7 I believe but never have checked.

Think you are correct, I use pro mix premium moisture mixed 2:1 with perlite. Eventually I’d like to go no till organic cuz once you have the soil good it’s just water and compost teas... but I love my Megacrop... lol
