Early harevest unfortunately...how do they look?

I had to pull a purple kush and its clone out of the flowering tent at day 49 flowering due to it hermying and having gnat problems...Definately could of used another two weeks, due you think it will be fine anyways, I checked the trichs and they were about 80 percent milky and the rest clear. They are in the dark for the next three days and them im chopping.

You were in the early flowering stage and by the look of those leaves the plant wasnt very healthy :(
The correct time to harvest would be when 50% of trichomes were no longer clear.
You will have little to none cbn levels that give that stoned couch lock, and an odd proportion of thc(hasnt finished producing this at that stage too)
So you can dry, cure, then smoke but it will be relatively weak and maybe not so appealing bud.

they dont look that bad for a early emergency harvest

i think youll still get some decent smoke out of those.

you were in week 6 of flowering so youll still get alright buds

its not like youre cutting them at 3 weeks or something

definitely a head high tho haha

Yah, they do look to have another two weeks or so but I don't wanna risk the rest of my crop being pollinated as this plant has had problems from the get go as it was a rescued plant from a friend who tried growing 64 plants and killed all but two of them...I'm hoping three days in the dark will mature them a bit....Also, it is day 50 today and its there second day in the dark so they made it past 7 weeks.

whatd your buddy do that killed 62 plants?

He grew them ll under only 64 watts of t5s and no matter whatI said, he wouldn't add more light. He was too cheap to buy good soil so he used 100% sheeps manure for the media....burnt the shit outta them all which is why this plant looks the way it does....Its been fed water all its life due to too many nutes in the media...

Looks like you'll have some decent smoke. I've harvested early and I'll tell you what, if you have 80% milky it will be some kick ass smoke.A lot of people intentionally harvest at 80% milky, especially sativas, for that intense headrush.. I think you'll be happy with it.

yah looks to be about an ounce or a little less but I know It woulda been 2 ounces with three more weeks. The good thing is Im going to save a little of each strain and cure for a year so I'm not too concerned with the end product.
