If you kept that bottom third healthy and gave it sufficient light you would end up with bigger nugs all around.

the reason why i trimmed the bottom 1/3 of my plant is because one of my friends that grows said that if u trim the bottom of the plant it gets better air circulation and instead of getting a bunch of pop corn nugs ill have the weight in all the top nugs
