Early varieties vs. "regular"-term varieties?

I'm starting a bunch of Early Mistys outdoors pretty soon, and I'm wondering if anyone has any idea how the yields compare between an "early" variety and an "average" Indica-Sativa hybrid? I guess I mean, does the shorter period= considerably less yield? If so, how much? (How many more should I plant to compensate?) Thanks for any help you guys can give....

was originally created to flower earlier - i.e. earlier than equatorial sativas and 14 month flowering varietals.

should be around 50-60 days either way, yield will be comparable to plants flowered at same size

Not giveing us much information here bro,You have not told us how far you are in to summer.I would say that if you only have at least 2 months left of summer then i would double up this will compansate for the bit of summer light that you have left.Same applies if you are into autum. But realy you want to find a nice plot that is realy hard to get to and get them in has soon has the frost stop,The longer a plant is in the plot the bigger the root mass the bigger the yeiled. But any uk growers now is the time get them in now and you can exspect a great yeiled.

Early flowering plants will give you comparable results. Its just their genitics that make the flowering period shorter. Your yields will not difference much to what your asking.

Sorry folks somehow didn't see all the helpful replies to this thread... thanks all... well, as for where I am in the season, it's mid-Spring here in the northeastern US, and I've got some 12" tall Early Mistys in 6" pots rootbound and going into holes this weekend; I've also got some 3' tall monsters (my old mothers which are all 5 months old) in 7 gallon pots, which will also be going into the ground as soon as they fill out the 7's. The ones in 7 gallon pots are a variety- an Early Misty which is just gorgeous, a couple of White Widows, a Diesel and a Master Kush. I've done the Diesel outdoors before and know it does pretty well; I have a good feeling about the Misty as well. The others are just experiments. It is very, very good to know that the yield is comparable to other varieties, thanks so much for that info. Thanks again all!

early varieties do not yield less. It just depends on the strain and the growing conditions. I grew out easy sativa by the female seeds company a few years ago. I got around 8-9 ounces per plant. They were about 7ft tall and they finished about mid to late september. My growing conditions were great because they got about 7 hrs of direct sunlight a day.
