Appreciate itwhat up digi thanks for stopping in always glad to answer a few questions for a fellow hobbyist in need , well i cant tell ya exactly what your gonna produce off a A300 lots of factors involved there friend but i can tell ya that on my last run that had a few problems worst of which was a few ladies i had to throw in late when i found some males i pulled 6.5 oz's off my two panels but those girls that got in there late didnt produce much at allmy bad though not the panels this run i have going now will be better. but in general i would say that if your a good grower and get a good routine going you could very easily pull 1 gram per watt again lots of factors involved. as far as how many plants you can fit under one of these really depends on what kinda plants ya got i had 4 huge and 2 small plants on my last grow and it was pretty crowded in my tent but my 4 were monsters you could fit 10 under one of them if they were smaller or just a couple big huge ones all up to you man hard to put an exact number on that. the fans on the vipar A300 is one of my favorite parts two big fans that dont make barely any noise at all , my spectra 290w was beast compared to the vipar i love the fact that its much quieter i hate having it sound like a leaf blower going off in my tent. also in my opinion the heat distribution systems on the panels take care of any heat issues and the chips being as close as they are will still not have any issues. overall vipars are great panels man the best ive owned to be honest and ive owned a few you wont regret buying from them im sure of it , cheers man hope this helps ya out.
My last grow I harvested just over 6 oz with 1 Plant photonics 140w light (2 plants, Scrog-ish in Coco Hempy bucket)I still undecided about who to purchase from again. The quality Cree LED's in the Plant photonics, the Xilence fans and the power supplies are the main points that sell their lights but the more LED power from the Vipar's are the other selling point for them.. Oh i don't know. For my new wardrobe which is - H 220 x L 120 x D 65cm ..... What light/s would you recommend? 2 x A200w or 1 x A300 ? Cheers!

I would go 2x200's or if you really want to get aggressive go 2x300's. 6oz from the 140W photonics is excellent, overall how do you find them. I once popped off an email to the guy but never got a response, I like the 260's I think it is...?Hey Mr. Thanks for your helpful reply. Appreciate it

Well the only other LED panels i've owned are Hydrogrow 60w, a 120w Chinese panel and the dutch hans panel. Plantphotonics blew my expectations. Yeah trouble is because he builds them himself it's hard to get a email response cos his so busy.
I just send another email afew days later and he normally gets back to me within a few days. I think i'm going to buy 2x A200 and if it think PP panel is better just sell them. simples. It's shame PP doesn't give out a few lights to some expert growers to to a journal. Cheers

Now i'm confused, maybe i should get another PP panel. I think it's the combination of scrog, coco in hempy buckets. But i don't wanna miss out on the Vipar's if they are just as good cos they are cheaper.

haha looks like your in a pickle digi .... im gonna say that that 6 oz you pulled was based o your growing skill much more than your light but who knows , 2 A200's in your tent would be good 2 A300's would stepping it up a notch like newworld said but that being said maybe more of the panels that treated you well is a good idea too how much these PP panels cost? vipars are quality panels that are priced very well in my opinion and once i get a good run in these vipars will show there true colors ..... either that or ill show i need some work on my gardening skills

it is time for another update here everything looks to be going well although i have found some what look to be potential sacks on a few of the plants so hopefully some come through and pop up female if not i might scratch this run and move right on to a scrog .... time will tell i suppose. mushrooms are looking good too daily misting has commenced as well as 12/12 of light/dark and they should be sprouting some nice caps in no time! wooohoooo! cant wait haha.

Whats up curly, I've been avoiding the forum as their are too many morons on here. Me I got a new room, 5 flower rooms and dedicated veg/mom/clone room, all industrial ducting mounted ceiling height, a growers dream. Now back to check the progress of LED, my 4x 600hps is killing me softly with their aggressiveness, plants hate them I reckon, my pro grow 550 is like a mother nursing her children compared to the hps brutes.
If I get a response from evoLED I will go with their products, otherwise it's photonics, I like their customising options, take their biggest panel and square it up to suit my growing shape.
I see you are carving it up in here with new shit and stuff..

My extended family are oyster mushroom cultivators in Europe, won't get too specific. You would wank over whta they are doing, 1000kg harvests every week now..

Looking good by the way...so did you get the vipars from the UK?? Is this your second grow with them, what have you learnt about them so far then in terms of height, feeding needs etc.

i hear ya about the morons on here man its like 4 to 1 idiots to decent folk , the panels are from china but vipar is based out of the uk , yep my second grow with them and i love em in terms of height im growing in a 4x4x7 tent and have found that hanging the panels as high as i can and letting the plants grow up into them is best smaller plants can have trouble with all the light these bad boys are pumping out. the only real difference i have found in feeding is im using more calmag besides that its about that same as it has always been .....this is only my second or third run with coco though so i might notice more differences in the future.
your setup sounds boss man cant wait to have room for a bigger setup like that but im stuck in small expensive living in the city for now ......

For me though the lens argument rages on, are they effective enough to warrant being there or are the straight up LED's better....any thoughts?

Also should mention that I love the evo50's, by my reckoning 2xevo50's over each aero tray at 2.5sq will be perfect, each cluster will literally sit over each plant and the total draw foe each light is 53W I think, or 63W, cant remember. The lux values at 12inches is 10,000. Par sat at 600+...and so lite, small and inconspicuous....luuuurrvvv them..

im inconclusive on the whole lens thing as well man , until i see great or better results coming from module/lens assisted leds im gonna stay away from them .... who knows though there could be something great that they do add im just gonna let someone else figure iit out first rather than spend a shit load of money to do the testingI shouldn't mention then that I am in an expensive city apartment as well then
