Earthgro potting soil

Does anyone have any experience with this, or attempted to use it ?

It looks like it was just compost. Small pieces of wood,etc in it. I need some soil, and my mom has some of this in her garage. Says it's all natural, forest products, peat, sand etc. If I were to use it, what nutes would it be lacking ?

There are too many sticks and bark. I guess if you mix in peat moss and perlite it could be really good.

Don't order it online either. Home Depot sells it for a lot cheaper.

She got it at Family Dollar I think. If I were to buy something, it will be better than that. lol

Use it and let me know. I have used other EarthGro products because they were cheap, but they just have to much bark and sticks. I would like to know how the actual "potting soil" does.

This stuff is the same way man. I picked most of the crap out of it. I just did one this morning. I believe it needs some perlite, or something to help drainage like you said.
