East Coast Road Trip

Where should I go and what should I do? I'm leaving from South Florida, so literally everything on the east coast is fair game. I'm definitely hitting Atl, DC, Boston, NYC, and staying with a friend in NC. What do you guys recommend doing in these places and places inbetween? I'm looking for anything historical, natural, interesting, weird, whatever. And in terms of nightlife I'm a 23yr-old white college student, so any bar and club recommendations would also be great (I'm really pumped about the Boston bar scene).

Thanks everyone!

I drive between Tampa and New York and up to New Hampshire often. You have to check out Charleston, SC!. Awesome awesome city and perfect for the demographic. 95 can get boring. Definitely go see cool shit if it looks fun.

boston, great city to gain 10lbs : have italian food in the old north end. also a great place for pizza
go to wollaston beach in quincy, place called tony's clam shoppe, best fried clams in the world, hands down, and I travel alot...
in plymouth- woods seafood- best fried fish, hands down.
The Tent in marina bay in quincy is also a great place to party.
if you like fancy food, go to jimmy's seafood resteraunt on the wharf downtown, also in marina bay theres half a dozen 4-5 star places right next to each other.
chinatown- a must see. better on foot than driving through, day or night, its a unique place. good food as well, also can get alcohol there served when all other places are closed ;)
a redsox game at fenway is also a must do, if you can afford it and there in town when your there. make sure to have a hotdog, they dont call them fenway franks for nothing!
stay out of roxbury, mattapan, and parts of dortchester if you can avoid it.....

Well if you go to Charleston, and your in SC, you might as well see myrtle beach before you go up to NC. While in NC or VA you could go check out some of the mountains. On your way from VA, you could go through DC and check out the capitol. You wont have any problems finding things to do and places to go north of DC :P Where ever you go, make sure you go to some local restaurants and get some local food, avoid the chains so you can see the diversity~ Eat at a BBQ place some where in GA/SC/NC, if not all 3 states :p If you go to philadelphia you have to get a philly cheese steak, and get some sushi while you are in NY!
