Thanx RosemanDWC with a DRIP feeder in my opinion. It's the best and easiest. Either in a bucket or a tank.

Depends on a few thingsHey all, I've always gardened in soil but wanna give hydro a try. What's the most idiot proof setup for a hydro newbie?
Sweet, I didn't realize I'd need the heater though. Room temp isn't ok?You don't even really need the dripper. I just built a simple ass DWC with a bucket, a net pot (designed to fit the bucket) filled with hydroton, an airstone & pump, and an aquarium heater. The dripper would be nice because you don't need to watch water levels as much, but you can just keep the water level at the roots and you're ok.
I'm gonna start slow, just get my feet wet and lean a bit before I spend a lot of cash. I like soil but wanna experiment a bit. Start off with a few plants, like 4 maybe. Space isn't a problem. Thanks for the help.Depends on a few things
How many plants?
How much space do you have to play with?
How much money do you have to invest?
I started with no knowledge at all and i used EBB & FLOW and it has been very reliable. You can set up for one plant or 1000 and you can do it on a budget.
Right. I think I actually have a heater lying around somewhere from an old fish tank. Might even still have a pump. Thanks for the advice brodepends on the room. You're shooting for 68'f water temp.
It's cold as a snowman's balls here, don't think I'll need a chillerSometimes, you actually need a chiller to cool the water.
Yep, looks cool, gonna try it soonim brand spankin new at hydro and im using the dwc rubbermaid method... it seems simple enough.. just make sure you got everything before you germinate the kids... balance your pH in the rockwool b4 you put the seeds in there
Lol, thanks for the advice BongJuice, I might just have to stick with soilSo basically if your a 24/7 stoner I'd recommend that you stay with soil growing.
