Easy Questions about my plants?

I have 3-4 weeks of flowering left and I have 2 concerns.
1- my buds are small theyre getting fatter but they arent getting longer and most are only maybe 1-2 inches long with a bunch of hairs sticking out. I know theyll get bigger during the last 2 weeks but how much would you say they grow....double? also will they get longer?
2- they smell alittle when in there but i deff dont even need my carbon filter you cant smell them unless you touch them. is this normal?

they can double most likely get more dense but i grow autos

Yes they'll get bigger and add some weight towards the end. One thing that helps some growers is using molasses during waterings in addition to whatever else you're using to add on the bud weight.

The smell will depend a lot on the nutes you are using in addition to the type of strain you are growing. Some strains just don't smell that much. Others will stink like hell! I wouldn't consider it out of the norm though for you to not have strong smell though...normal in many cases.

At that stage of life bud development is most affected by the lights. Get them as close to the light as you can.
To test, hold your hand above the tallest part of the plant. If the heat is uncomfortable on your hand it is too hot for a plant.

Smell is largely a factor of strain. And gender. Females grown without males, sensimilla, will produce more hormones and smell.

1.) You probably vegged them too long and the plants are too big for the low light you are presumably using. Without any pictures and grow room information we're all guessing in the dark. Could be because you are using Miracle Grow for all we know.

2.) Perfectly normal, it means your can filter is working perfectly.

im using a 600 watt mh/hps i lstd and topped so theres a bunch of budsites.. the light doesnt have to penetrate much. and no miracle grow. its organic potting soil with no added nutes. im using the fox farm trio for nutes ph was off in beginning now its fine. and about the smell no i mean i dont even need to use a filter... they dont smell unless i touch them .
the reason im worried is because i see other peoples grows and theyre buds are alot bigger even the ones that are younger.

in 3-4 weeks, on an 8-9 week strain they should more than double in size. At the same time, conditions and strain will play a part in this, so no way to forecast on the info you give. I have 2 clones at 4 weeks flower and I expect the current buds to gain 4-5 times the size they have now based on the plant I cut them from.
