Eathy grassy smell from weed

Granted it's only been harvested a few days ago, but I find this a lot with my weed.
Anyone else?
I tend to run water throught my plants(soil) 3-5 days before I chop them

im leaning towards improper cure with everyone else. can you tell us more about your process?

Yeah, you have to cure it. I had that on my last grow and now that it has been in jars for 10 days it is starting to smell. I can now smell it through the glass jars and box I'm storing it in.
