Ebb & Flow House and Garden. Nute burn?

They're about 2.5 weeks into veg using the full house and garden line. The strains are C99xChemdog, Skywalker OG and Hells Angels OG. At the beginning of week 2 i mixed 2/3 strength nutes. PPM at 700 EC at 1.0, feeding 4 times a day for 15 minutes in rockwool/hydroton. I noticed yesterday some burnt edges on the skywalker and c99, and some brown spotting that has turned yellowish on the HA OG. Here are pictures from today. What do you think?

Nute burn occurs on your new, developing leaves. Let me see clear up-close shots of your new growth at the top.

If the new growth looks green and healthy and that weid yellowing with browning is limited to the lower, older leaves, then I wouldn't worry. From what I've seen OG's suffer a temporary state of deficiency when they're first struggling to root in hydro. They'll grow healthy once their roots are established, and it looks like your plants are doing just that... so don't worry. It's an OG thang.

But let me see pix of your new top growth anyway.

And now see how that yellowing becomes yesterday's news when the roots finally get going.


Now look at the yellowing with brown tips on my current Tahoe OG. Note also that the new growth is green and healthy. That bit of yellowing is just a little 'history' marker of prior struggles.

Yeah its only bottom leaves for the c99xchem and skywalker. the HA has it on a couple mid leaves. the new growth looks pretty healthy. i dropped my ec down to 0.8 (560ppm) but now that it looks like a deficiency should i up it back to 700 ppms maybe higher? Ive been told OG is weird in veg. Ill get some pictures of the tops up later tonight.

OG is very weird in veg. Yeah, let me have a look at your tops. I'm pretty sure you're gonna be okay.

Your overall growth doesn't look bad, so I wouldn't stress about it too much. But instead of increasing your PPM with nute, try a little calmag. It's 2-0-0 so it's a Nitrogen boost, and it also has supplemental trace minerals.
