Ebb&gro controller box confusion (brain)

Whats up..

So ive been growing using dwc buckets along with an nft system
And finally decided to move over to the ebb&gro system.

I have very little knowledge on this sytem well atleast the timer.

I have not a clue how to set it up. Ive looked around and cant find instructions on how to set it up.
I have my plan on how I wanna run it.

Heres my set up
Lights-5k set up
On time 6:00am
Off time 6:00pm
I wanna have 3 flood times during my 12 hour day.
Idealy I want it to water 1 hour after lights on,again during midday and last 1 hour before lights out.
I wanna do it for 30 min each terminal.

It might be a dumb thread or what not but thats why im posting in noob central cuz I am a noob still.

Any help would be highly apprciated.
I use a 3 part recipe along with humbolt county additives..

So with that said if anyone can post a pic or a link to a tutorial I would highly apprciated.

every tab you pull towards the middle is on time, each little white tab is 15minutes. The clock being spun when you turn it clockwise is current time, the tabs correspond with future times.. any other q's just ask

Ok so I put the arrow pointing at say 6:00 then after count 15 min till I do 3 like I plan on doing?
Soory for what seems like dumb question I'm used to digital timers
and doesn't help that I smoked 3 bowls of some Og wax

lol gotta love that wax, yeah, point it at the 6 and pull 2 tabs towards the center where you want to flood, i'd suggest 6:30-7 12-12:30 5-5:30... i personally do 4 floods but 3 floods work as well.

Yea I made it from this last harvest I had..straight fire lol
anyways ok this is what I'm stuck on
does the clock work counter clockwise because that's the way the numbers are going.
I wanna do 3 because my neighbor said it would be to my advantage I'm going off what he said and some research.
What would be the difference between 3 and 4?

Oh also is the drain light suppose to stay on till the next flood cycle or do I need a timer to turn off the brain??

I feed mine every hour and every 2 hours with the light off
u'll find the roots go crazy
i only use pebbles tho and 1" rockwool cube
