EC Formula

Does anyone know the formula to convert EC to PPM. I forgot it.

no one knows how to convert EC to PPM? It is an Easy formula.

from what i can recall u multiply it by 1000, but i also remember hearing its different depending on the nutes ur using and the ph pens brand, i believe hanna and gh work on the .5 scale, and an and the rest of the pens work on .7 but i could be wrong about that part

Ok, I have found the conversion. And yes, it does depend on the brand of PPM meter.

ppm=(ec x 700) milwaukee brand

ppm=(ec x 500) hanna brand

I have the Ultrabasic Waterproof meter. I could not find a convertion on it, but I sent the manufacture an email asking if they know what it is. If i do not get an answer, I guess I will use 600 then. I am just wanting to compare my PPM to Arjan's grows, and he always states in EC.
