EcoSmart Organic Insecticide killing plants?

Alright, found some thrips and got some EcoSmart Organic Insecticide. Sprayed everything down in my veg tent...not watered down at all, didn't say too...but soon after they were all drooping and the leaves look discolored.

I sprayed them several times soon after that with Regular water to rinse the spray off..Anyways here is some pictures, anyone have any ideas? Suggestions?

They're not dead til they're dead but this would fucking suck.

Most insecticides (eco friendly or otherwise) are not recommended for use on seedlings. I hope they recover for you.

No recovery they died.

I use that ecosmart insecticide (the organic stuff) its got rosemary oil, peppermint oil, ect...... i noticed the first time that when I was rinsing it off (always rinse it off quick) that alot of it got into my soil and I think maybe the ph got thrown way off, my babes started to look pretty bad. I figured this out pretty quick and now when spraying then rinsing I cover my soil with some foil to prevent contamination from the insecticide as well as overwatering from runoff after the rinse. this stuff actually works great if you use it right. its been the best product I've used so far as for insecticide, everything else I've tried did major damage to my plants. the plants actually get nice and green after I spray with this product, look very healthy. I use this on fresh cuttings as well.

Yours actually look overwatered to me. I'm dealing with an overwater right now as well. sorry to hear that they died, better luck next time.

I can assure you they aren't over-watered. I watered them after the got droopy from the spray. If you look at my journal you can see them the day before oh on healthy they were.

I should have watered it down, a lot. Oh well learn from my mistake.

Old thread but , here smy findings... Burnt the hell out of some of my plants.... just read the ingredients for Ed rosenthals "zero tolerance" organic mix,, super similar to eco smart... looks like it is diluted 10x less, so I will dilute the ecosmart and try it on a few leaves... eco smart is a hell of a lot cheaper.... damn people taking advantage of people in need!

I pretty much killed half my grow with eco smart 1 week into flowering... I sprayed at night, and the next day they were all half brown. Had to reveg, and cut half the plant off since they got too tall to go back to flowering.

I know it's bad to bump old threads, but thank you guys. I just sprayed one of my plants topsoil with Ecosmart Insecticide in a desperate attempt to fight off fungus gnat larvae, and read this topic 30 minutes afterwards just to find out it does more harm then good. I just removed the topsoil moistened by the spray, and gave my plant a nice watering (First watering in about 6 days so it was easy to tell how much soil was contaminated)

Since I removed the contaminated soil, and probably diluted the remaining traces of it to smithereens, do you guys think my plant stands a chance? (The plant I sprayed is the one on the right / they're both on their 4th week into flowering)

Oh and I've found Fox Farms spray called Don' Bug Me works perfectly for almost everything. Will never use anything else.

Okay four years later and I have the correct answer. Eco smart is great for marijuana plant. The key is you only need a light spray or two on a plant. Do not use on seedling. Hell the plant should not be outside until its a week old at least. I started using this at a month old and its perfect. Remember it doesnt take much!
