Electrical component question..

Hi! I'd appreciate it if someone of higher knowledge can answer my question:

What is that electrical component called that you can choose to install, that gradually withdraws all your required equipment energy before delivering it to them, so that energy is not all withdrawn at once when your equipment is activated?

Also, what is the benefit of this and how does this affect your monthly electricity bill?

Again, much appreciated.

It's called a capacitor and/or capicitor bank. The only place it saves is on motor loads. Unless it's in an industrial facility with a lot of motors running, then it's not beneficial at all to buy into.

Oh? I just thought maybe a capacitor might come in handy.....you know...just so not all power is surged at once to create suspicion. So its not necessary to install a capacitor?

never heard of anyone taking that drastic of measures.... unless you're stealing your power, you're most likely never gonna have a problem with your electric patterns.
