Electrical Help

Thank you demacross

And to the other guy, when talking to someone with no electrical experience and you say"double 30 amp" what does that sound like? That's why I said if you don't know the correct terminology be quiet before you hurt someone. 2 pull 30 amp is correct, not "double 30 amp"

And "dryer plug" isn't the correct terminology either. That is my point. Also I said nothing about running the sub panel off 10 gauge. I said to use 10 gauge for anything over 20 amps and then stated it would be better to run a sub panel if he wanted multiple circuits. Two different things. Not run the sub panel of 10s. And I have more experience than you as stated by yourself. I'm a commercial electrician and only go by the code as demacross confirmed. And also I told him he should get help with it, not do it by himself.

So in every case, stfu before you hurt somebody, and stop trying to teach someone who obviously knows much more thab you.

I'm done with this thread, if the author wants anymore help he can pm me. But whatever you do don't listen to that noob. You don't need a timer hardwired in either.
