Electrical shock from stripbuild

Kind of hard for any of us to tell where from the picture.

Be thankful this is only 48v some of the 377v ones you wouldnt be here talking about it.

Safety first

My guess is there is a wire stripped back too far and touching the frame somewhere.

Has nothing to do with grounding or driving them soft vs hard

the way you wired them is a really cool solution for a parallel build so that you don't wind up with the "spider" of wires to deal with... but I'm wondering if that many wagos is adding to the problem.

most likely guess above is correct tho, some wire is stripped back too far. are u using solid core or stranded wire for everything?

Hello,

I made my build complete.
The driver (meanwell HLG 320-24b)
Is mounted on the frame.
If used a Grounded cable, but still i feel leaking current

I've mounted a shunt with amp meter and the voltage and current seems fine
Is use 28 Samsung H562D strips and run Them soft.

What am i doing wrong?
Hey Geert. I like the ambitious build. Have you got dimming installed? If so you can try this:
Since you already have things connected in sections by wago try connecting the sections one by one, and check for current in the frame. This way you can try to pinpoint to one section of strips. But you have to do this on very low dim, in order to not blow strips.

Thanks for thinking with me.
Actually it is 24v parralel build.
I've already checked:
- the connections and not one cable is touching the frame.
-Tested another driver (laying this on the frame), stil didn't work out.
- Got a shunt+amp meter on it, used it without them but it didnt help.

Also i used thermal tape for conecting the strips to the frame, could this be the problem?

I have a potmeter installed and i installed an shunt+ amp meter so i can measure it.

If my build is done i will post some pics,

Is one of your screws grounding a strip to frame???

My screw touches the L shaped alu.
This again is taped with thermal tape against the flat alu bars.

Lol I am I. No way underplaying the dangers of high voltage. But if the amperage is low it's much less dangerous than made out to be. My lights have a voltage of 285V and 0.7a. Ive touched the live terminals on accident multiple times. All you feel is a light tickle. High Amperage is what does damage.

Ya but check that screws aren't biting the strips and causing a short. Did you use plastic washers??
Before attaching the L bar i made the screws flat.
Under that is a flat profile and under that is tape with ledstrips.

So screws don't touch the strips.

I use stranded wire.
My main wire is around 16AWG1.= around 1,5mm2
MY wire wich goes to the strips is around 19 AWG= 0.75mm2

Has the outlet been checked for 'correct' or proper connections...like neutral and hot lines reversed?
Can easily check by swapping the 2 AC lines connecting to the driver (not the ground)...if no change then swap them back.

My main wire is around 16AWG1.= around 1,5mm2
MY wire wich goes to the strips is around 19 AWG= 0.75mm2
im guessing stranded wire is probably your issue. did u tin the ends? or just twist them? I always use solid core to go into strips. I only use stranded to connect my driver to the fixture. all it takes is one stray piece to not make it into the slot.
