Electricity bill is over $1500!!!

seven ounces with 5 lights?? i run one 1000w and my first grow pulled 3 ounces on some plants with a total of nine... pulled just over a pound. i dont see 7 zips worth a 1500 bill... mine dont even get over 500 thats with leaving my 2 400's on at times too..
 
Hey man lets see some pic....I like a little "light" porn.

Better yet lets see the plants they produce. I wanna see what 1500 clams / month in electricity buys you.

i missed this , stealing power is a no no . your better off paying for it and not raising eyebrows
 
I just dont get it. i run just over 2500 watts in 1 building with a/c and my house with a/c and my bill is less than 300.00 a month.sounds like the neighbor is stealing power from you.
 
my employer pays 25 million dollars a year in electricity so dont feel bad. I think I would look for ways to cut your electricity, you can t-5s in the red spectrum and cut your heat issues down. My attic is way hot. I scaled way back for the summers and ramp back up in the fall. I only run the lights at night on off peak times. roach
 
I run allmost 3500 watts toatal and my bill is nothing like that,I also cut the TV,water heater temp - and lights off all the time,the only juice I waist is in my grow room!!!!
 
yeah something isnt right i run 3 400s and a 600 and i dont even have a 200 bill plus fig 3 months to get a crop at 1500 thats 4500 give it up and just go buy a pound and youll still have money left to go on vaca
 
I run 2600w HID, 4 med. fans and 2 small duct fans + all my other house shit( A/C, TV's,fridge etc....) my bill is around $350 a month ( Michigan,USA). I grow 12 plants at atime, 6 veg stage and 6 flower, and I get like 2 pound a harvest. Sounds like you have a case of overkill there.Good luck ,see ya
 
Are you getting consitently high bills? or did you just get one? You need to go out and check to see that the meter reader read your meter right. They make mistakes. I got a power bill a couple years ago that was about 4 times my normal bill with no plants growing or anything, just household stuff. I check the meter and they read it right, I called to find out what was up, turns out they hadn't actually sent some one out to read the meter in about 6 months, they were just estimating how much I used. The high bill was catching up for 6 months of using a little more electricity than they estimated each month. Something like that may have happened to you.
 
WoW $1,500. I couldnt imagine opening a bill and seeing that much. I agree with others that wouldn't it be WAY cheaper just buying bud on the street. Besides the $1,500 you are paying for electric you must be paying around $200 a month for up keep like Ph solutions, nutes, grow room supplies, and other misc crap. If you can find a way to cut your bill in half may be then id say grow ur own.

yeah keep dreaming... but if you look hard enough and know the right people, you may be able to find some sourkush around for 450 an oz.... lol.. this is a marijuana growing website just has a reminder
