Never had any issues but I was wondering how much wattage is safe until u raise eyebrows

I doubt you'll ever use enough to raise eyebrows....
The power company could care less till you start causing them problems...

three 1000w hid lights is no more electricity then a large salt water coral reef tank would use. you should be fine.

Why should they cause you any problems? You're paying them more money after all.

Unless you converted a house into a major grow in a residential area I don't see a problem.

I would be worried more about neighbors or so called friend you told about your grow.

That is big, power companies can figure it out now. Used to be possible, now losses get roaming teams to find them Being dedicated to paying your FULL bill on time.

You can also say you're putting in a hot tub.
