Electricity Question???

Using one room as my grow room,Can i simpley connect a couple of fans and lights to the extension cord then up to 2 wall sockets. i be using 400w hps and 3 27 CFL's/?

Should be fine, just make sure it's tidy and secure and away from too much heat or water exposure, the HPS will run through the ballest...
