Eliminating Smell Without a Carbon Scrubber

What up RIU!?? I have a closet set up and I'm getting the right temps by keeping the door to the closet open in the room. IM not worried about keeping it stealth as I own my home and don't worry about traffic in the room. However smell will be a problem if anyone comes to the house. How can I keep the smell out if I don't have a sealed room with an exhaust to scrub the air...any ideas??!! Thanks in advance for any suggestions...

In a small space, ONA will work well enough. But anything larger, ONA is almost useless. Unless you buy many tubs and really have them everywhere. My advice has always been it's about the strain. There are plenty of lower odor strains out there and this could be the most important aspect to controlling odors. If you grow a stinky, even ONA won't suffice. So, 1) grow something that's low odor, 2) using multiple odor devices (ONA/carbon/ filters/Ozone/HEPA) is best and 3) negative air flow (sucking all air out of room really quickly and safely) is what works best.

There's this anti-odor and anti-bacterial spray called ozium that you can pick up in almost any hardware store. A lot of people use it to cover up the smell of marijuana smoke and it works wonders. When you grow a plant, what causes the odor is small particles of the plant that get blown off and into the air. When you smoke it's same concept expect that those particles are burnt causing a different odor. However, the physical concept is the same so ozium should work to rid the smell of marijuana growth. Also, since its also anti-bacterial it will help your plant steer clear of mold and infection. I don't suggest using this on large grows and don't spray the stuff directly onto the plant.
