That is just your idea as to which way the society should be moving or what is detrimental to it and silencing other people's ideas doesn't make your idea more right just the only one allowed. The end result of that is a totalitarian state where only only part of the population get to speak or where everyone only gets to repeat the allowed idea.
There is a need for balance. But social media does not provide it as it feeds you information you may like given your past viewing habits. And then you end up in an echo chamber where you end up believing the crap you consume as it is the only view you accept. There has been enough people crawling out into daylight where they say they were brainwashed by themselves only accepting views that align with their own. White supremacy, QAnon, both dangerous and built on repeating ideas that harm society. So what is your solution to deal with these types and keeping free speech free?

Why do you have a big ol' Z in your avatar? Is it so you can support murder while pretending "what it's just a game/movie lolol"...?

Actually none of your business stick to the topic not personal attacks
Haha so sorry that question got you all triggered. Yeah, you definitely sound real concerned with free speech and not the type that confuses free speech with speech that makes you happy. Nope, definitely not one of those guys.

"Now I’m skeptical that Trump trash-tweeting the Republican haters and losers who don’t prostrate themselves before the MyPillow altar will be enough to cost Republicans Congress on its own," Miller wrote. "They’re surfing a wave, baby. But it certainly isn’t going to help. For instance, it’s not hard to imagine the Herschel Walkers of the world overcompensating to appease the Orange One in ways that harm their campaign, costing the party a few seats."

No one is forcing you or anyone to read or follow tweets of people you don't agree or like with its called free speech for a reason.
They said that about Hitler too.

Some have never twittered but most have dumped it along with other SM..it's Tweensville Entertainment.

How did your country survive until (now 200 years) with freedom of speech? I am pretty sure it will work out just as it has before
Not my country (we are refering to the US I assume). The US will continue on. But what shape it takes is the battle now. Trump and his ilk tried to use the levers of government to tilt the table into the direction that concentrates power to their party.

But you still do not seem to answer my question of the danger that social media can become with people only consuming views they believe in (left or right).
