That not true at all. It was one senator that came up with that idea. This is the kinda nonsense that the mainstream media says a few times and everyone buys without getting the facts. My mother tried to tell me that one day and I had to set her straight, lol. She voted for Biden,
It's desperation. Repugs have come up with 4 or 5 year sunsets which force congress to evaluate the Financials of big ticket items every few years.

Republican are a threat to Democracy if they vote, now they want grandma out on the street homeless and pregnant. Voter ID is Jim Crow 2.0 and led to record turnouts somehow.

Oh and Trump and J6. There's the entire platform for 2022.

Considering Republicans announced the want to get rid of SS and Medicare, it's pretty much nothing in comparison, is it? In their eagerness to get the libs many might fuck their parents, grandparents and themselves in the end. Winning or conned?
Yeah OK thanks for the laugh dude from another country that can't even vote here. It is cherished.

So that official Whitehouse tweet about social security has been deleted in violation of the Presidential Records Act.

Whats disgusting is that this is the truth. republicans want to slash social security and medicare, they've said so themselves.
republicans have parents, contrary to the popular belief that they reproduce by mitosis, like bacteria. That means they have grandparents as well...If they cut spending for SS and medicare, they will indeed be screwing over their own parents and grandparents, and they seem to be ok with that.
Can't have never ending war and never ending entitlements that have default built in. The truth is that if you and I paid for government services in real time as they were rendered our paychecks would be net zero.

I would much rather stop the forever wars and bring all the troops home from the 150+ bases we occupy before trying to improve entitlements that people depend on. Noone deserves to have the rug of dependency suddenly pulled out from under them and noone is advocating any such thing.

and yet

From your article:
"As Social Security benefits are looking at a 20% cut without new taxes, we may be talking about major changes to America’s retirement plan.

Meanwhile, according to the latest numbers at Predictit.org, the online betting market, the Republicans are cruising toward control of the House after next week’s midterms and have a growing chance of also winning the Senate. Which means they would have the means and opportunity as well as the motive to start taking the pruning shears, or an ax, to America’s retirement plan.

Make of that what you will."

And what did we observe team Dem make of that? Nothing but:

Reeeeeeeeeee!!!! Omg we need something for midterms stat!

Gee that sounds as serious as Trump's secret documents case and sure sounds equivalent!
Did Trump delete any Tweets?
Destroy presidential papers by flushing them down a toilet?
Steal any government documents?
I'm sure the National archives will be investigating.

You would almost think he wasn't allowed to correct public information admit when he was wrong and correct it. So, if the government puts out a notice with errors and withdraws it for correction, they committed a crime? Where is the intention, like with Trump? Tweets are not deleted BTW, they are just hidden from public view, we have a record of all Trump's deleted tweets, but he didn't delete his because of errors and lies, he deleted them because they showed how stupid he was.

Also, there is that matter of Trump using an unsecure phone, that alone is far worse than Hilary's emails.

He is the "gold" standard of corruption and incompetence and was the last POTUS we can measure Joe by, and by those standards he's doing very well. He's kicking Putin's ass, not sucking it like Trump did.
I agree that measuring Joe by a standard of corruption and incompetence is proper.

so poor little rich kid's plan to save twitter is to lay half the employees off with no warning...what a fucking humanitarian.
all so he can tweet his stupidity and know he won't get banned. you can clearly see that his highest concern is the betterment of the entire race
fucking loudmouthed ignorant hypocritical asshole.
Their last day was today but he is paying them full wages and benefits until Feb 2023. All access blocked. Most of the devices were remote wiped.

That's not too shabby really.

Even by Obama standards, and he was as clean as a cat's asshole, his biggest "crime" was wearing a tan suit out of season, a fashion faux pas. Joe picked Obama's WH and staffed his administration out, it was part of his job based on his long experience, Joe kept a list of good people and so did his chief of staff.

Clearly Joe was the superstar of Obama's Presidency. The glue. It would have been a disaster without Biden. And the American People are well aware. This is why they voted way more for Biden than Obama.
