Email your Senator to stop this bullshit Stimulus Bill

It will be reworked when it gets to the senate---no republican voted for it in the house---some of the bullshit is going to stay in---Obama can kiss his dream of bipartisanship goodbye if he doesn't put more tax cuts in and knock pelosi off her high horse. Republicans will cock block him everywhere.
 
They even put Acorn into the bill---the low income lobby group that was basically a huge arm of the democrats get out the vote effort----total bullshit.
 
Does anyone have any sense about what the Senate is likely to do with this? It's a given they will not pass it as written. There will be a senate version and then reconciliation with the house bill in conference as with all big bills. Or am I wrong?

Listening to folks in DC claim that there are 'no earmarks' in this bill makes me boil. There's a couple hundred million for digital tv transition. Apparently this is going to create jobs by establishing a call center to let people know about digital tv transition. Please. And only 5% is going to infrastructure. I live near the I35 bridge that fell down last year.

Gah, I have to go to work; I have bills, I mean taxes to pay.

That is a Fox News canard. Acorn can apply for money in the bill, they aren't being given it. Yea, sure, they'll get what they apply for.

Oh, and Diem, voter registration fraud is not vote fraud. You give Acorn too much credit.
 
the senate version will be different, but it won't be a lot unless people start emailing their senators and bitching. A fillibuster is out of the question---because a bill is necessary---just not a liberal wish list---which pelosi tried to muscle through with great haste---starting to slow down a bit now though.
 
pretty much---rush to fuck up---we need a stoner president---give everyone plenty of time to think things through because he wouldn't show up on time and a month or so late :) Give them time to do as good of a job as they did on the constitution---which year by year they are slowly eroding.
