Emerald Triangle, Grapefruit Krush....fem seed is a male??

Hello everyone!

I have a Grapefruit Krush plant, 4 weeks into veg. This was an all fem seed run, 3 Dp Blueberry, 1 Et Trinity Kush and the Et grapefruit...all plants are showing beautiful female pre-flowers...save 1...the Grapefruit Krush is brandishing the dreaded ball on a stick! How can this happen? Is it possible to get a male from a fem seed? I'm not that experienced with fem seeds and I am only on my 2nd run with them. This is a huge disappointment due to the fact that I was much looking forward to this plant. I thought about crossing the grapefruit krush with the trinity kush....but I have 0 experience with breeding...lol..I'm still trying to master soil grows! What do you guys think?

I've recently been reading a LOT of threads about fem seeds being males.
I guess it's all part of the gamble of buying seeds.

Hi darwin i myself do alot of E.T. stuff and have realy been very lucky, up untill the last grow and i done there Bubba 76 and had exactly the same problem as you and i was bombed out by this as i myself was realy looking foward to this one, but more luck came into play as before i flowered my last lot of Bubba76 i took a few cuttings have never done cuttings before so thought i would take 4 cutting and if they take then i have got 4 more plants to play with well forgot all about it untill this one turned out tobe male, then i remembered and went straight to my green house and there on the side was 4 lovely Bubba 76 plants and i think they must of thrived on neglect. Wow time for a :bigjoint:

I could cross it with a female bagseed...seems like such a waste to kill it..I could still use the genetics right?

This is a shame! Funny that the Bubba was one that I had intended to try....until this. I don't think I will even waste my time with E.T. not even with regs. There are too many reputable breeders, out there, to play with! Especially after this has happened on my first run with their strains! I'm just getting ready to finish a run of 3 Sweet Black Angels, from Samsara....there has been no disappointment there, quite the opposite actually. I also have 3 Dp blueberry plants, in veg, that are all showing nice fem preflowers....both breeders delivered as promised....fem seeds. My advice to E.T.....make sure people are getting what you tell them that they are getting!

Here's a couple of shots of the S.B.A. that is finishing up. Samsara is definitely a breeder to try.

Maybe a reg seed fell into the mix of fem seeds? Or maybe its not the same strain? I would keep it and let it pollinate some ladies and make your own seeds so you dont have to keep buying them. Yes, you will open up the gene pool and bring out the recessive traits but you may find an extremely great pheno. I did this with the Purps. More pheno hunting but I found a jewel.

man my E.T Bubba 76 was male so i crossed it with Kosher Kush 4 nice size nuggs about 100 seeds ready in 3 weeks go gorilla grow, the bubba 76 was acting funny in veg. always dropping like ouch to much light kept pushen it to the side then it got strength loved the light and became male lol

Nice! I've decided I'm going to cross the GK with the Trinity Kush, the Emerald Jack and 3 unknowns. Who knows..maybe I'll accidentally create some killer dank strain...especially with the unknowns! I can't tell you how many people have had their E.T. fem seeds turn out male...maybe someone did really mix up the batches? I gotta say the GK plant is a beauty though...can't let it go to waste.

Shit I was going to try that one out in my garden. Never used any of ET's stuff. I'll stay away from that now....way too much work to have that happen unless you wanted it too. Sorry to see that...its supposed to be a great smoke.

If we can get all the people who have had there ET fems turn out to be full blown MALES willing to do some crosses, there could be a really good thread to see what these males are producing! As stated before I will be crossing my ET Bubba76 male with GHS Lemon Skunk, G13 Blueberry Gum, and Barneys Vanilla Kush.

I have the Trinity Kush in veg, at the moment...I'm pretty sure its a fem... Now I'm going to have to look close at that one... :cuss:

How are you going to advertise your feminized seeds by giving people regs? Nice going E.T! This tells me it was no mistake either...it happened to too many people.
Guys, the Sweet Black Angel will not disappoint you. It's a great strain for 12/12 fs and LST....just watch that 12/12 stretch cause they do alot of it...the description says 260% stretch but I think its a bit more....nice fat tight buds....smell and taste is musky with a blackberry finish. It's a very stable strain too. Here's a few pics.

I grew the Grapefruit Krush plant out and harvested his pollen. I stored most of the pollen but I used a smidge on a blueberry plant....here's his offspring maturing.
