Emergency - Can't restore power to my grow

So in the basement I have an oldschool fuse box with the plug fuse. That is what all the outlets on the basement are running from. I also have a fusebox outside with a set of breakers. There is also a set of breakers in a room in the middle of the house, unlabeled. I flipped all the breakers and both fuse boxes. I also took off all receptacles and inspected the connections - everything was good. I talked to a friend over the phone and he suggested the fusebox in the basement could have blown. I pulled out the fuse and it doesnt show any noticeable burns, but it does have a slight jiggle when i shake it next to my ear. It is very old looking.

I am going to replace this and also get a volt meter... After that I may need to call an electrician because I have no experience past self taught google explorations.

I can post a pic of the fuse and fusebox when i get back from the store... just going to replace the fuse real fast cause its would be an easy fix if its the culprit. Thank you everyone so much for your responses, it means a lot to me and my girls. Will be back in 45.

Hey, just thought of this, if it is a basement there is most likely a gfi circut as there is moisture. They are little buttons on one of the outlets down there. lol I bet that is all it is. Go look at every socket down there and see if there is two little buttons between the outlets. push the button.

It was the fuse!! We have an older 1940s house with the old Edison plug fuses. I have a fuse box for the basement alone, it was that fuse. Replace and all is up and running now... Thanks everyone!!

Same thing happened to me, turned out to be a blown fuse that didn't look blown. I checked all the fuses, all cords, everything and I couldn't figure it out, even my electritian was stumped...then we decided to just change the fuse that LOOKED fine, and VOILA!
