Hey guys I've been giving my girl nothing but water for a couple days then just feed her a little bite of nutes then I noticed I just have a swarm of little pests and a couple have died on her and I'm wondering if it would be a good Idea to try and give her a lot of water so it flushes the nutes tonight and then tommorrow after dark cycle is done I'll harvest her? Is this a good idea? Or r there better options?
Thanks!

pour boiling hot water on roots, wait 3 days and harvest.

that's the point. starve the roots of oxygen will help to start the breakdown of chlorophyll, sugars and starches.
Ok I get what your saying but does that just make it so that the nutrients r out of the plants system? And or does it make the plant get denser also?

No, your plant should be finished and ready for normal harvest, this is just to help start the cure, the plant doesn't store nutrients, it stores starches and sugars

Ohhhhhhhh I didn't know that lol I never thought I would learn so much the first go around haha so let me ask you one more question if the plant doesnt store nutes that you feed why do you need to flush the plant at all? And if i don't need to actually flush can't I just harvest now and do the dry and then start the cure in glass jars?

you don't need to flush, that is a forum myth, but if you want your bud to be tasty, do what i told you.

Oh and I should mention I've feed it molasses also and I read it counter acts the chemical nutes and doesn't do anything to your plant so shoudn't I be fine not to flush?

Ok I didn't think that would give taste then I'm def doing that! Thanks man
Hey just one more question lol on top of te boiling water will the glass jars also help with the taste and potency? And would the glass jar method work on its on with taste and potency? if I don't think I can wait because I don't want to contaminate my plant further

After 3 days, cut all fan leaves and hang plant until outside of bud is crispy, it is not dry yet, the inside is still wet and needs to be sweat out. What I do is cut branches and put them into a plastic tub, buds will be damp again next day. you can then start to do final trim, once they feel right, i then jar them up
I don't do the whole burping thing, don't have time for that.

molasses does NOT effect nutes. molasses feeds the benies in the SOIL only, and nothing else. it does NOT give the bud flavor, or any other myth that goes around these forums.
