Alright so fo those of you who remember. I have a mataro blue growing like a canopy on its own. I feel this canopy is making things slower since no light can peneterate the top wall, so I performed and emergency plastic surgery and removed 4 fan leaves allowing for the inside branches to grow as they should..

My question is, since I did it like this did I technically just top two layers? I am hoping this will make her start branching out as the lights hitting the inner leaves now

That is why I asked here. And who cares how my grow room looks. it's the space I use and it works fine.

Anyway your response is noted. Either which way it will be getting better light at the bottom, and encouraging some branch growth. I have books, ebooks and whatever I wasn't looking for THEIR opinion thanks, next time I will ask for a book if I want .

The plant in that pic looks way too young to start snipping off anything bro. For real man do yourself a favor and let her grow for a while un molested. I suggest topping her one time when you have 6 nodes. Chop off top 2 and you should end up with 4 strong colas in flower. I personally do this often.

At the point in this picture plant was at sexual maturity at 6 + weeks or longer and 3 weeks flower. She is a runt is why she looks small -- check my threads in siggy. :) This plant is still being a little bitch, but I do not care as I have a five foot tall giant growing next to it that peaks my interest more :)

Omg she is that old? Damn dude runt is too kind a word lol. Honestly I think I wouldn't worry much about her. Not anything you can do at this point in my opinion. If you have anything doing well in veg I would swap out runty for a healthy. But if u want to finish her out then just let her ride I guess. Personally I would want that space to flower something that will give you back something for all the time, work, and costs involved. Peace

Eh, I've got nothing else going for indoors atm just outdoors and my other indoor spot. The spot where this bitch is growing is going to be vacant until this sativa I am growing which is about 5 foot tall and 2 foot wide halfway into flower right now with weeks to go...

She's going to be a tree I had to start tying her she kept touching the light :\

Hell yeah props on that sativa dude. They are my favorite. Although I will always have a love for a true northern lights. If that space has nothing to take its place then finish out that lil crippled gash lol. Maybe clip the bottom 2 fans. Might direct what little energy she has to making a better bud on top. Just a theory.

She's more than just a runt, how many nodes on that little girl? Did you say three weeks of flower?

Toss that girl, especially if you got a 5 footer beside her.

Yeah, shes tiny and she's slanted because she was grown on a block in the side of the room where a corner protrudes a bit. She's got some good looking bud on her right now.. maybe 15 inches tall? I just trimmed a few more leaves from her, since the time this post was made she has just got some swelling buds maybe one main cola. With how dense this strain is supposed to be (rock hard nugs) that one small thick cola could weigh like an ounce :D

She is just in there to be in there now. Any smoke I get from her is sub-sequential.
