R u filtering the water?.. The constant rise in ph is coming from microbs in the water. Filtering the water helps a lot . Preventing light from hitting the nutrient solution will slow it down more. U can use black plastic sheeting. Check homedepot it cost around $10-15. U can also insulate the grow sites with styrofoam. But if you put the frozen water bottles in the nutrient solution make sure you take out the bottles and discard them if the ph begins to rise again.

No Im not filtering the water I was going to but I fill up my reservoir using my tub and idk if there a filter that fits that lol. And im definitely going to put something over my nutrients because there only a few feet from my grow and are definitely getting heated up!

i have only done soil so far. sounds like the soil is the best learning ground.....the hyro sounds a bit more complicated. at least until one masters the ropes.
