So I just grew my first plant and got over a pound my neighbor said to put it in the freezer but my buddy said no get it in Mason jars is there any risk if I took my weed out of the freezer let it sit out on the counter for an hour and then jarred it up

Hopefully you hung your plants for minimum of 10 days in a climate controlled room before you put it in freezer....

The fridge can help dry buds out but it’s more of a quick way to just try the stuff.

Freezer is only used when making hash out of bud.

Dump bud on a tray or in a tub and mix frequently in a/c controlled room and fan on it . Either way it’s gonna taste terrible most likely

After reading it again, OP sounds like a ripper that had to stash his stolen weed somewhere quick. Explains why he has no clue what drying even is.
