Imo the best thing you can get out of this is to not believe something simply because everyone's saying it. cnwth that's whta everyone has been saying? Or is it that they did the calendar up until 2012?
I'll admit that my geography of Africa is weak. But I was under the impression that not much of the continent is arable, and that water is a big problem.I've always thought Africa has more of a problem with distribution of resources rather than lack of resources. They have the land, water and people needed to farm. Too bad they are riddled with corruption, diseases and half-ass "help" from nations that became rich thanks to them.
Your right, africas biggest problem is corruption in government and lack of practical education. Youll all enjoy this one. The last time i was there, i was in an amazing growing climate. Every house had a back yard that was small but big enough to have a garden that would easily provide vegetables for a family for half the year. Maybe one out of 20 houses actually had a garden. The only person that was being creative, had raised bed gardens all over, with herbs, veggies, and flowers everywhere, was the guy my friend brought me to meet. He showed me all the stuff he was growing to survive off of and for decoration and then he took me behind his house to a 20 x 40 strip of african outdoor ganja that made me smile from ear to ear. Shit i was hugging the plants it was so awsome. Go figure that the rasta growing the chronic was the smartest african i met that whole month long tripI've always thought Africa has more of a problem with distribution of resources rather than lack of resources. They have the land, water and people needed to farm. Too bad they are riddled with corruption, diseases and half-ass "help" from nations that became rich thanks to them.
