makes me all googaley cause i just flipped my 8 strawberry cough girls into flowering 3 days ago.. giggidy giggidy gooo!

Awesome! I would like to see pictures once they start developing. Once yours are where mine are at, mine will be just getting done, so then you will be really excited when you see the finished product.

it looks like you chooped off all the fan leaf stems as well correct?
Fan leaf stems? You mean how fan leaves generally are right under a side branch? Then yes, cut those off, but leave the fan leaves. They have precious energy that the plant will suck out of them. Those fan leaves will yellow and die a couple days after you trim, but its ok. You should take a pic of your plant from a couple angles (to see the branches) and maybe I could direct you .

nice, what kind of system are you using? and you are already seeing buds at 3 days of 12/12? Wow I thought I was going crazy when I saw mine with pistols popping out everywhere after only 2 days of flower. Its a good sign.

Thanks MUFFY i experimented on one of the smaller plants with smaller buds i trimmed off all the smaller branches it looks similer to yours my other plants are so big and there is so many big buds i dont think i should cut them down  maybe next time around here is a pic of them about 5 days ago all buds much bigger as you can see there are stems everywhere...

nah not buds technically, but growth shoots that will produce colas cause every branch is on the same level, even canopy. i am using 2 air cooled 600 watt hps's and a 250mh in the middle of them in a 9x4 screen. the 600s are cooled by a 270 cfm can fan with a carbon filter. i have a 12 site 2 gallon bucket hydroponic flood and drain system with a 3.5 gallon controller and 55 gallon res(expandable to 48 pots. 4 DP blueberries and 8 DP strawberry coughs. i just flipped a few days ago and i measured a few plants that have grown along the screen and they are around 28-30 inches tall if there was no screen.

damn how tall are those? The tallest plant I have is 3 feet (its in the pic on the left) and I cut every branch off so its just a straight stick. All the lower branches on it couldnt get enough light ( I use 400w hps, so if you have 600w or more youre ok), so I just cut them off. I would just think about all the skinny stems toward the bottom that cant handle a lot of buds, and which arent going to get as much light as the upper ones anyway. Also you dont have to do a hardcore trim job, some plants are built different and you just have to use your judgment on what branches will produce a lot and which ones wont. I trimmed buds off last week (week 5) and it was sad but it had to be done. Yours are just developing and in my opinion they can be sacraficed. Just look at a branch, take in the amount of leaves it has, the thickness, and the distance to the light, and just imagine how big the buds will get.

holy crap that is a nice system. You are going to have a sea of fruit soon. I cant wait to see what you produce. I did the math and you have 120W per plant, while I have only 50w per plant. Also you have like 3-4 times the root room. I am impressed with mine, but yours is going to blow it away. I might look into less plants and doing a screen of green, it just makes a lot of sense.

thanks for the kind words ive put alot of time and effort into my system. it does make alot of sense. im really impressed with it. like i grew 4 white widow girls normally under 1200 watts and they were nice and i got 3 oz per plant but i wanted bigger nugs. i noticed that all the bottom popcorn nugs turned out shitty and not proper u know? the screen makes it so the light hits every branch evenly. creating massive colas out of every branch. u just weave the branches into the screen and u get like a budsite in every hole. 2 weeks into floweering u trim everything underneath the screen up. every popcorn nug site. every branch that hasnt hit the screen, everything. no light penetrates the thick canopy so u want bare tree trunks underneath by week 2-3 so by the rest of the flowering cycle the plant puts everything into the top colas. its alot more work than growing normally but i think it will produce alot better results.

Yeah I am actually doing a Screen of green, without the screen. I did what you described with my coughs, leaving the bottoms completely bare and just keeping the top colas. I didnt do it with my afghanis and they have weak little nugs. Yeah I dont like the little popcorn nugs either, they are just so inferior compared to a big fat juicy spear. I read in a couple places about strawberry cough and they said it takes 9 weeks, and it has a huge flower boost in week 4 and week 9. So, as a heads up, a little boost in nutes or phosphorus does wonders at those times.

yeah my ladies went to bed... as for all this trimming is that what people refer to as "LOLLIPOPS" my system is so close together that i guess thats what im suppost to do.

O my plants are about 4 feet tall. vegged seedlings for one week. 6 plants under a 1000w hps 11 turned out to be males:evil:

yeah people call it that. my system is crowded so it naturally ended up like that. When I started over I planned a little better and actually trimmed plants to fit together like a puzzle to maximize light uptake.

i use pure blend pro: grow,bloom,soil-bloom. I also use liquid karma and sweet. glad to see another botanicare grower out there. not many of us but i love their whole line of products. expensive, but worth it. i didnt flush my last grow and there was no crackling or fertilizer taste in the bud. just sweet juicy nug.

I used pure blend pro on my last grow and my buds didnt turn out too good. My hydro store guy suggested using the Grow and Bloom but never told me about Soil. What an asshole...
