ok that's great to hear and it's interesting to know I could keep a mother plant for years as I thought they only lasted one season so I thought that indoors they would die off after flowering. You could do it that way, or simply keep the same mother and continue to take clones from her for years.
You can keep a mother plant for years, and have the same quality in each grow.
yea.. this is how i do it actually.. i find it easier than taking up room with a mother plant...Is it possible to keep cloning starting from one plant. Let's say I cloned this plant and got 5 clones started, could I then clone 5 new clones of one of those first clones and so on?
ok I will check that video out now and thanks for the help. I also found quite a good tutorial here too.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ahWqyJ-tpM youtube video on cloning.. makes it easier to see than to read about.. at least for me..
and you can keep a mother plant going indefinatly as long as you have the space to keep her... you just have to let her recoup during the period between each time you take cuttings... again i dont like mothers cause of space, but i do know a grower with a 2+ year old mother plant...
thats how i keep my grows going cloneing from a clone , then as soon as i can take a clone from here i do. plants just keep getting better and better...Is it possible to keep cloning starting from one plant. hell that guy in that video don't no shit....LOLok I will check that video out now and thanks for the help. I also found quite a good tutorial here too.
sounds great if they keep getting better, im excited now....thats how i keep my grows going cloneing from a clone , then as soon as i can take a clone from here i do. plants just keep getting better and better...
also do this, go ahead and cut your clones in veg so that you have your rotation ready, but also take some clone while in flower. the further into flower the better. 6 weeks is good. it willtake about a month to vert back but the plant you will end up with is wow.sounds great if they keep getting better, im excited now....
ok that sounds like a cool tip and I will try that. I think I will do a fair bit of experimenting and try a few different methods on cloning tosee which gives me the best results.also do this, go ahead and cut your clones in veg so that you have your rotation ready, but also take some clone while in flower. the further into flower the better. 6 weeks is good. it willtake about a month to vert back but the plant you will end up with is wow.
