Enough fresh air?

The room I'm working with is about 14x10. I have a big intake fan posted up on a wall that lets a little fresh air in through a little gap. Usually the fresh air is really hot outside the grow room (2nd floor). With this fan blowing all day it brings too much hot air in, but also gives the room nice air circulation, along with 2 other fans. Would it be a good idea to leave it off during the day (lights come on at night) so my AC unit can cool the room a bit, and also keep the exhaust on 24/7? The next step up from there would be to have the intake fan on for 15 mins and off for 15 mins at a time. I just want to make sure I have enough air exchange without it getting too hot...any help is greatly appreciated!

Would just having a few holes in the room as passive intake be good enough? Leaving the big intake fan off during the day and turning it on at night when lights go on, while keeping exhaust on 24/7

air intake and exhaust is extremely important. if it gets to humid in the room it will cause your plants to mold. add a humidifier or a cereal bowl with pH balanced water to help with humidity

you can shut it off all my stuff light , fans on one timer they shut off at night every thing gets shut down . You should run your lights during the day night off. so your house is not lit up at night might be a lil suspicous or not it works for me :) good luck.:blsmoke:

it can get up to 90 in there on a hot day... that's why i figure i should have some circulation, but atleast the AC unit right?
yes defenatly you want circulation with warmer temps. with tempslike that when lights are out i would even run a fan on low circulating air around

when you turn the intake fan off and it cools down quite a bit the i would turn off the osc fan. but yes keep the exhaust fan on

the exhaust takes up a lot of the cool air too. how often would I need to turn it on if I was to keep it off when the intake.

if you can mantain a stedy temp with lights on and off with fans on or off thats what you want to shot for. or don't let itdrop more them 10 to 15 degress deiffrence. with lights off.

Then I'm gonna have to turn off the exhaust and fan. How often should I have them both go on for on occasion?
