Enough space for main-line? 4x2x6 3 plants

New to growing and ive been looking at mainlining once i transplant in a week, the plan is to grow 3 plants in 3 gallon pots, the tent size is 4x2x6.

After measuring from top of the pot to light i have just shy of 4ft of clearance, i could raise the lights a bit more if need be by a couple more inches to get 4 feet

I was wondering if this space would be enough to mainline 3 plants?

I just finished a 60 day veg on my first mainline take, if I do it again it will be with 4 plants. My space is 6x6 and hydro, if I had your setup and can duplicate what i just did, 2 plants. That’s just me though.

Fair enough yeah 2 plants seems adequate, i may do the third one in a 1 gallon pot for fun.

Based on that 3 would be overkill, but doable. That looks like a well trained plant, nice work, im going to train them hard like that if I do 3. Prob head to the drawing board after hearing a couple of other perspectives, appreciate any insight!

Thanks, for sure, there’s a lot of options, 3-4 is for sure doable, I’m bad for pushing my limit for space but I think I’m ok this time. The one in front is a 16 top, I could of used more room, I used wire to space, pull and spread all the tops and honestly it’s just a bigger version of the 8 top out of the pic or the 8 top behind it. You could prob get a canopy filled quicker with less topping and other methods as well.
