Entertaining Boos About The Financial Markets

My three favorite books whose plots concern the financial markets are:

Barbarians at the gate--Bryan Burough and John Helyar
This was also made into an excellent movie starring James Garner.


Liar's Poker--Michael Lewis
Very entertaining

Bonfire of the vanities--Tom Wolfe
This was made into a truly awful movie which mis-cast Tom Hanks. The movie sucks but the book is great.

LOL, I can't help but admit that this Black Briefcase has reinvigorated a long dormant obsession!!

have you read House of Cards by William Cohan? Pretty good. Talks about how and why the stock market crashed recently. It really shows how those CEOs are untouchable criminals.
