Envirolite

Hi,
This is my first post, so Hi everybody I'm Morlan from the UK, I'm not really a new grower but I'm not totally experianced as the rest of you seem to be but I know a few things and have a good background in the sciences and biology (mainly a base level).
Ok, so enough of the intro stuff.

Everything talks about using Mh and HPS lights and, of course, I can see that they are the preferred option (energy output+absorption into the plant etc wtc) but has anyone looked at these Envirolites? I have two (200watts) in my setup, they produce about 18000 lumens each and draw VERY little, they seem to come in white (my friends spectrometer seemed to pick up a good dose of blue spectrum range too) and red flavours. And they are self ballasted. Extremely good price on these babies too, at only £39.95!! (no, i don't have shares :blsmoke:)

I've had a good result with them previously and ive just finished setting up a new area. (an enclosed box which the hood floats above and inside on tension regulated cable system, seems to work very well but this is the first crop with this setup. I'll post some pictures once I have some picture worthy plants haha. I'm testing it out with some seeds that "somehow got stuck in the corner of my pocket" when I visited the states earlier this year. Luckily for me they are females and I'm just about ready to induce flowering. I'm going to take some cuttings first, might be a good strain (I don't know what strain it was, people just gave me weed, ya know, "Smoke some American weed dood".

Anyway, yup I babble alot, I just wanted to know if anyone else has tried these bulbs and that they think of them.

just use 1000bulbs.com unless you can find a killer deal. And to be honest, I might tell you to use smaller cfls, because you can get them directly placed around the plants for excellent coverage. And there so cheap. GL!

soul, so your saying use more bulbs but less watts? for more area coverage?
but wouldn't i spend a lot more money to buy reflectors for them all to plug in and hang?
