Envirolites---Do not use digital timers ???

eerywhere it says do not use with digital timers..... CFLs say this also


am i alrite to use timers still????/

Yes you can use timers with CFLs. I've never heard of them not working with timers.

Some timers contact points are not heavy enough to carry a light load and cause a FIRE hazard

If your load or lights have a 10 amp load the the timer contacts need to have at least a 12.5 amp rating at what ever voltage your using

if any one needs help getting around this limit I'm willing to help other than that a timer turns on and off just like the light switch does

i didnt know that about digital timers. i have a 6$ timer from walmart or meijer and its always ran cfl's great. its not digital it has a wheel with all the hours of the day.

15amp timer are very easy to find, i believe most are 15 amps in us
