I was using the male bsp 8 way manifolds for 4mm line but its doin ma tits in keep snappin shitty 4mm bits .

How do u feed ur plants.. i got 8. I planned on 4mm drip rings on a 2000lph pump
Each ring having 2 4mm feed lines

Do i have to use bsp to get it equal or can i use the pressin 4mm pins or even the 4way 19mm splitters x4 ..

What dya do? Coz my way seems shit.
I dont want emitter blocking n shit as i use heavy salt feeds

Drip feed is plagued with clog issues. Personally I avoid it and go with flood and drain. It's just so much simpler and reliable.

Agreed, mostly.

I will add that drain to waste in a substrate like coco is easily done with a “drip“ system. The trick is just to flood the surface of the pot using 1/4” line, and avoid all drip emitters. Otherwise you will be plagued with clogs and uneven distribution.

Doing this even semi-thick nutrient solutions can be fed DTW with very few clogs. As in, none over the course of the grow. I do clean the manifold and replace the distribution lines between runs for a very low cost.

Yeah but how do I setup so it's got even? Like hows ya manifold setup. Or can I just use the 13Mm with 4 4mm nipples

I use an Apollo 8 adjustable manifold from home depot for like $15. Allows me to adjust flow for 8 individual lines. 1/2” hose from pump to 1/2“ MPT adapter on manifold. 1/4” distributor line to each pot.

This tent has two plants, all I grow indoor for summer, so I have doubled up on lines and halved flow for each.

You don’t have to be exact in flow for coco DTW, you just need to ensure enough runoff.

Sorry for the photo quality, is lights off.

When used with appropriate pump/pressure, Aquarium manifolds work well for my lil coco grows.

Takes some fiddling and practice to get them flowing equal. Great for different pot sizes too.

Never a clog. it’s a wide open system compared to anything with junctions and drippers. And you can adjust flow to each line with a screwdriver. It also has a cleanable filter, although the only thing I’ve pulled out of there has been my wife’s hair that has somehow gotten pulled in to the res.

also run FloraNova goopy nutrients at home grow. No issues in years.

and for $18 at my local Home Depot, I have a shit load of spares.

Also means no junction points in my tent. Leak free since 2015, baby.

8 ports. 4 different flow rate inserts. Nice and easy. Works as advertised.
Have mine with a 30gal rez hooked up to a vivosun 800gph pump on 1/2" vinyl tubing.

Wtf is all that lol looks like u make milkshakes while u feed lol .

Thats the one ive been looking at can u remove the emitter filters and run it free flow ?
Does it leak
And wtf flavour milkshakes does that make lol

Looks like at least 4 different flavours to me... that is a cool manifold, fancy shit

Will 4 of these be ok ? On a str8 line
I missed this link, but the problem with that is minor but you’ll get uneven flow the further you get down the line as the water pressure drops. If you’re only running a short run, no big worries.
