Day 60……..obviously, there lots of variation in the phenos finishing times. I’ve decided to wait til Tuesday at 9 weeks to chop the most done stuff, and slowly chop the rest when finished over the next 2 weeks. Yup, some will be going to 11 weeks. Last crop I chopped some later flowering plants early, and didn’t want to do it again.

This is a great strain if you are looking for something low odor. It hasn’t been noticed in the house at all. But brush up against them and you’ll smell it right quick.

I think a heavy defoliation is stressful for the plant, so it takes it‘s energy and puts it towards recovery rather than growth. Therefore, the plants are traumatized and stunted until they recover. My 2nd defoliation at 5 week in flowering was much more thorough than the one completed at the start of flowering. I was worried for a bit there, because I’ve never removed so much so late. Crop after crop has proven, it’s pretty hard to screw it up……

Monday is now the new first chop day………. I think those few are more than ready. I’m not sure if it’s 2 or 3 plants overall.

Could be but people growingit on grow diaries still didn’t talk much about odor. But the reviews I said said we’ll be surprised by the high. I’ll need to find it again and post the comments. I’ll start tomorrow at 11am, I have some pics up as I get at it.

I’m not going any longer than 2 more weeks- 11 total is enough and I expect the Super Skunk to be finished within that span too. Hat would be day 67 for those, which I’m also ready they’ll be done too.

I can see why mold could be a problem with these………about 2 weeks to go for most of them, and they’ve chunk out mightily the last week or so. I thought that last defoliation at week 5 might have been a little too late but as you can see, everything is working as planned. This has been a very healthy grow, and hopefully the quality is there, as it could be a record breaker yield wise.

The breeder definitely hit the nail on the head, as the strain is a late bloomer for yield and resin, except that pheno that’s done in about 8+ weeks or so.
mold cause by humity in grow space happen to me

Ever thought about some far red to try and bring those cycle times down?
Ive used rapidled far red initiation pucks 10 min after lights out to put them to sleep faster and start budding quicker but havnt noticed any difference besides making the plants stretch even more in first 3 weeks of flowering..i was getting 2 inches a day stretch...took them out and only stretched 1 inch a day.

I read a whole thing on this.. if I remember correctly you need the presence of both the far red 680 nm and ir 730 nm ? Something like that.. you're wanting the Emerson effect... not shade avoidance response.. I wish I could find the article!!Screenshot_20221026-191854_Chrome.jpg
