The video is more highlighting cultural ignorance than just plain stupidity in the same way it is highlighted that many Americans won't learn the language of a country they are visiting.
The Brits are just as bad, only they will get drunk and trash the place too.
I have seen some truly dumbfuck Brits and some stupendously stupid Americans. Everyplace has its faults and merits but it's another merit if one can laugh at themselves.

That was hilarious. I'm an American and I couldn't do nothing but laugh. It also reminds me of a video I seen on youtube when the 2008 presidential election was going on and they were asking Obama supporters different questions about diff candidates and those people were so confused.

You bring up an excellent point. When I was in Germany I always got good service and such because even though I didn't speak the language, my sincere attempt at it was appreciated. Some just plain won't learn and expect the host to cater to them which I view as a little disrespectful.

If you guys ever want to go to Germany, I'll interpret. I loved it because I went at 16 and they don't card you for anything, everyone is friendly, the night life, architecture and art scene...
Not to mention 1000s of Turkish dealers, you can carry 10 grams and the munchies are ridiculously cheap. You should try wandering into one of their funky shantytown outdoor galleries tripping balls.

Those people weren't poorly educated, they were UNeducated. You Brits STILL needed OUR intel, US intel, when you invaded the faukin' Islands!!
I think comparison wise, China or Japan would easily be considered smarter than most Americans, they have much stricter school but ours have more freedom so over here it ultimately it depends on how strict your parents are at home.

When it comes down to it I really just don't care. I know I am intelligent it upsets me people cant even answer basic questions. Did they not have colored pencils in preschool when you learned geography. When watching that video i was sitting here thinking about the answer and then running a brief history of it in my head.

I have to disagree with that. Do you know how hard it is in school now? They're teaching the kids shit that people were learning in college not even 5 years ago. The education system is raising very intelligent people. It's all for nothing, I'll admit that. After they get their piece of paper with their name on it showing what degree they got, they can continue on with life flipping burgers.
