so i came home today to find my 7 foot tall chemdawg split down the middle including every branch snapped as though someone came and broke every one down but not off id say 50% broken every one it had to be like this for 2 days before i noticed bc i was away the plant doesn't show signs of withering and all moved toward the sun.

This happend 2 weeks into flowering is there a point of keeping it i did my best to tape everything but im stressing out has this happened to anyone else? can it recover this plant seems to strive always. picture you bending every branch until it broke at the stalk.

Also i have a grapefruit plant that broke at the bottom id say 30% through but all the way at the base what are the chances of getting a good yeild? for either or am i doomed

Have a deer come through and eat it, Follow the deer around until it shits then smoke the shit. No problem

Duct tape the breaks to support them til they heal. Without pics it's hard to tell, but it is definitely possible for the plant to recover, people do that on purpose to their plants all the time (albeit more carefully as you want the stems to bend but not actually split open), it's called supercropping. I just pulled this pic off this blog (http://thcpub.com/supercropping-diy-professional-mode), but it illustrates my point. This was done to this plant intentionally to increase yield, is this similar to what happened to yours (other than the main stem splitting, of course)

You should go out and repair the break and stake up the plant. Tie several wraps of jute around the break and cover it with pruning sealer to keep out disease and bugs and all will be well. I will post some pics of a Giga Bud that broke a few weeks ago that is in full flower right now, it also split down the center in a wind storm.

If you tape all the breaks the plants should
recover nicely. I've had branches break down to a sliver
and they still kept on growing fine after the taping.

I have the same problem about 100 5foot plants are laying on the ground I’m leaving like that until the sun dries them up then tape them up I guess
