Everybody's jumping on the bandwagon

I went to The Big box store HD today to pick up an 8-in fan for an intake. I walked through the lighting section and I swear by all that's holy that they have realized that grow lights give them a huge profit margin. Bulbs and fixtures were priced at three times the cost of lights not promoted to be grow lights. When I was there some guy picked up six 4ft fixtures. IDK how much he dropped but I think he could have done a lot better. I don't know what makes these Depot plant lights so special but it wasn't the price.

Just look at the money spent on the Blurple market, people can be convinced to buy anything.

Capitalism is a mofo some times. There’s an ass for every seat. I’d take my business elsewhere if my local shop was doing that.

The price per watts is way too high. I'm in HD nearly every day. (Install Building Management Systems) I'm happy to see them but hate to see the prices. And I haven't seen really any full spectrum. Mainly blurple

My bathroom fixture is 750W (250 x 3) Metal halide. 1500W capable. Our light needs are in home fixtures if you have a clue. Bet my bath fixture would do a monster vert grow. LOL. And I use ceiling panels with LM3528's for early veg.

The last thing I bought from (Lowe's) was thermometers, and a watering can. Unless you're making super soil. There's not much you can use that's worth it.

Lol, those little 250 watt jobbers are easy to come by. They use to be used to light business signs. Usually mounted on the ground. Ballast, reflector, and bulb. All in one case. 400watt MH is car dealership light poles. 400 HPS is Wal-Mart parking lot.

The 250MH are space heaters as well. LOL. 500's and you're blind while dehydrating.

I once got a 400watt setup. Ballast was in a case and the light had a 25' cord.

You know those inflatable Gorillas or dinosaurs businesses put in the parking lot? There's an illumination option. Its(was) a 400watt MH bulb on an industrial cord.

I remember having to get these huge interlocking power sockets(Lowe's) after shortening the cord.

It was a nice ballast. Cylinder looking with cooling fins. About a foot tall. Not much bigger around. Bare aluminum.
