If I LST in the third week of flowering will it give a better yield then if I didn't LST?

If I top a plant outdoors in an area where humidity averages about 80% and rains almost every night will the cut area of the topping rot?

these are a few of my plants thaat have been topped, lst'd mainlined, etc this tequnique is very good in making plants bushier and overall i think it increases yield of truly matured buds, as a typical xmas tree shaped plant will only have a few side branches and a main cola full of smokable bud. easier to make an even canopy of buds that recieve the same amount of light, then making all that bud the best it can be
