Excellofizz CO2 in 6 by 10 ft growroom

Hi to everyone. I have a question for the more experienced with CO2.
The problem with a tank is that it creates too much noise, and it might explode.
That is why I would like to use another product. Has anyone used Excellofizz CO2?
Does it smell? Does it make any noise when it dissolves in water?
I have a growroom 6 by 10 foot. I was wondering
if I use Excellofizz CO2, given the fact that 1 tablet is for
12 x 8 foot room and produces up to 2300ppm, can I use a quarter of a pill,
since I need around 1500?

Thank you in advance.

CO2 is not a flammable gas. I have never heard a CO2 tank make a noise? You need a regulator to ensure that you're not just dumping CO2 in mass quantities into the room. I have never heard of Excellofizz, but did a little research. Their claims are substantial, but that doesn't make them untrue. The best long term solution for CO2 is a burner if you have access to a natural gas line. Burners create heat which can be great for keeping the room warm during the cold seasons, however this can be undesirable during warmer seasons so it's a double-edged sword. CO2 tanks are nice because they don't create heat, but can be a nuisance lugging around and replacing them. If you have a CO2 PPM meter and want to try Excellofizz, then do it. What's $50 anyway?

I have yet to see any co2 creating product actually work at a reasonable level. If you really want to add co2 you need a tank or burner. Also a meter/controller of some sort to control your ppm level. Its not a cheap upgrade, and usually added once everything else is fully dialed in.

You can break the c02 pucks in half if you just hit them against the edge of a table. And the excellofizz pucks don't make any noise except fizzing sounds lol. And it smells like eucalyptus.
