A quick look into the definitions -

19. "Marijuana" means all parts of any plant of the genus cannabis, from which the resin has not been extracted, whether growing or not, and the seeds of such plant. Marijuana does not include the mature stalks of such plant or the sterilized seed of such plant which is incapable of germination.

4. "Cannabis" means the following substances under whatever names they may be designated:
(a) The resin extracted from any part of a plant of the genus cannabis, and every compound, manufacture, salt, derivative, mixture or preparation of such plant, its seeds or its resin. Cannabis does not include oil or cake made from the seeds of such plant, any fiber, compound, manufacture, salt, derivative, mixture or preparation of the mature stalks of such plant except the resin extracted from the stalks or any fiber, oil or cake or the sterilized seed of such plant which is incapable of germination.

(b) Every compound, manufacture, salt, derivative, mixture or preparation of such resin or tetrahydrocannabinol.

Concentrates of marijuana by Az definition is not marijuana it is Cannabis when it is extracted...

I have always believed extracts were illegal under the AMMA...

AMMA -
"Marijuana" means all parts of any plant of the genus cannabis whether growing or not, and the seeds of such plant.
"Usable marijuana" means the dried flowers of the marijuana plant, and any mixture or preparation thereof, but does not include the seeds, stalks and roots of the plant and does not include the weight of any non-marijuana ingredients combined with marijuana and prepared for consumption as food or drink.

No mention of Cannabis (Concentrates) in the AMMA

People that spread misinformation like its fact really fucking annoy me.
Concentrates and edibles in AZ were at one point illegal and I looked all over the AZDHS website and can no longer find anything about them being illegal so yes your right it is no longer illegal but it did used to be FACT so chill out. My apologies to all those affected by my outdated information.

Used to be a fact? So who changed the law then and when did it happen? After your last post stating it was illegal as fact? AZDHS aren't lawmakers either, btw, so you might want to read the actual law instead of their webpage.

Here's the FACT - concentrates and edibles have been legal for patients since prop 203 passed. 36-2801 15.

Sorry if I sound like a dick, but like i said, it annoys me when people claim nonsense as fact.

Well you definitely sound like your claiming nonsense as fact.
The law has not been fully clarified by the courts and many jurisdictions will lock your ass up for
possession of concentrates try Prescott, most of northern AZ, Gilbert would be fun as well, and
maybe even Arpaio would get some of you.The actual fact is concentrates are illegal in the law but
that part of the law may be antiquated by the new law that gives protection for the dried flowers and preparations thereof. This however needs to be fully argued in court
and I don't believe it has been close to fully litigated. A prosecutor could certainly argue that BHO
for example falls underthe cannabis laws and is not within the new definition and some judges
may agree. Many people are in fact taking donations for extracts and that could easily get them charged with sales of cannabis which is the same penalty as heroin sales.
Sure you may win after 10 or 20 grand so far no one has won and instead they were arrested and charged there property was seized as well.
The charges were eventually dropped I believe but none got there property back and none have won a false arrest lawsuit.
Long story short saying for a fact that all extracts are legal as of now in all of AZ is complete bullshit its still a somewhat grey area.
I guaranty you if you advertise free extracts in parts of AZ your door will be kicked in real quick with a warrant and your ass will go to jail
your property may also be seized.

I do not know when they changed their term of what they described marijuana as, I would suggest that you contact azdhs if you would like to know cause they used to described it differently. I am not claiming nonsense, I apologized for my information being incorrect. No need to say sorry for how your sounding bro, you didnt hurt my feelings. FYI I have read the law and when I made the statement about looking on their webpage for concentrate info I was in fact reading off this webpage that it would link me to http://www.azleg.gov
