I'm getting close to buying what I need for my grow but I was hoping you guys could help me out with one question. I'm growing in a 4 x 4 tent and I was planning on using a 600 watt hps that is air cooled and a charcoal filter, so do you guys think one 424cfm rated inline fan can keep the temps under control or do I need need two seperate fans for the filter and the light. Thanks guys.

424 cfm is more than you need for that room. With a charcoal filtered impeller you will have no smell. I use the vortex 400 in a 6x6 with a 600 cannister with a fitting, good for two years, cant smell a thing

Yeah two smaller ones does make sense. I was just going to keep the flaps open at the bottom but having an intake and exhaust would be nice.

I just wasn't sure that i could run the light and the filter on the same fan. Seems like a lot of work for one fan.

Yea but the fan is just pushing air through a cooltube, not like there is alot of resitance to that.

Yeah, you're right. It'll be fine. So do you think the flaps open on the bottom is enough fresh air? I'm thinking about the negative pressure so I don't know if I need another intake or not. Last question, promise. Haha.
