Fans on fritz i run 1000 watt hydro farm air cooled hood. So i rigged small centrigul fan exhausting from light having to leave tent doord open.it pulls very lil heat .but i got fans hanging every where. Air condition room. Temps staying around 78 highest i seen when fan quit 85.but i need to buy a good but not most expensive.i need to move 108 cfm. Found a booster fan 500cfm will that work couple montns to get this crop over.and then have the money for better fan.

You only want 108 CFM to cool 1000watts?

And I'd suggest getting an inline centrifugal fan, not a duct fan.

Yes the booster fan will work i have used them before but you will want to monitor it making sure it does not burn out. The duct booster fans from my experience do not handle heat as well as say an inline fan for exhausting hot spent air from your light fixtures. I had a 8" booster burn out on me and it almost caught my tent on fire, but i smelled it burning and had smoke alarms thankfully. It lasted for about 5 months though exhausting 2 x 400watt fixtures

I can vouch for ValuLine Centrifugal fans both 6 and 8" for sure, never used any bigger....they are cheap yet get the job done....had one of mine for 4 years now and it hasn't skipped a beat yet...that's my exhaust which gets the brunt of the 3 x 400watt light exhaust heat, so they are great for hot air extraction

Alright....fuck the expensive inline fans and.the.duct boosters which i have had them all which i still use the booster but just to being air in....go to home depot/ menards if you have one there and but a 8" vornado fan " top of line?" Atleast on that blows its ass off and a piece of duct work flat on one side and a 6 or 8 inch round outlet on the other depending on what size duct you are using and bend/ duct tape it to the fan an i premise you will love it ....plus if you live in cold climate there are speed adjustments to warm cool your room ....plus but so me bathroom/andstove vent carbon filters for about $3 and put them inside your cent line....not a great filter but they smell like fabreeze

I only use 1-1000 hydro farm light with three of those filters "4 in a box" and six inch cent an it blows its ass off.....room =6x6x6 and stats under 70
